Start with what is observable
Instead of asking ‘What is wrong with me?’, try three gentler questions: What feels different today? Where do I notice tension or heaviness? What has been taking more energy than usual? Concrete observations are often easier to hold than a demand for one big answer.
Separate the feeling from the verdict
‘I feel behind’ is a feeling and interpretation—not proof that you have failed. Writing the sentence down gives you room to ask what need might sit underneath it: rest, reassurance, help, clarity or a boundary.

A useful next step should fit the energy you actually have. Send one message, drink water, write three lines, step outside for two minutes or decide what can wait until tomorrow.
